Why Invest in Pottstown Commercial Property?

Pottstown and all of it’s commercial properties  are located in this borough of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States 40 miles (64 km) northwest of Philadelphia, on the Schuylkill River. Pottstown was laid out in 1752–53 and named Pottsgrove in honor of its founder, John Potts. The old name was abandoned at the time of the incorporation as a borough in 1815. In 1888, the limits of the borough were considerably extended. Pottstown is the center of a productive farming and dairying region.
Pottsgrove is also currently an outlying area of Pottstown as well.

In the past, Pottstown’s iron and steel interests were very extensive. There were large rolling mills, furnaces, nail works, textile mills, bridge works, agricultural-implement works, boiler and machine shops, foundries, and manufactures of bricks, silks, shirts, hosiery, etc. In 1900, 13,696 people lived here; in 1910, 15,599; in 1920, 17,431; and in 1940, 20,194 people lived here. The population was 21,859 at the 2000 census.

Pottstown is not to be confused with Pottsville, as I have done numerous times in the past. Pottsville, PA is a city in Schuylkill County well-known for being the home of Americas Oldes brewery, the Yuengling brewery. But that is another area altogehter.

Pottstown, PA is located about 1 to 2 hours outside of Philly..all depending upon traffic. It is also about an hours drive from Allentown, PA and the rest of the Lehigh Valley.

Pottstown is a small community, but with a big town feel. The heart of down town Pottstown has many interesting shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions.
Restaurants include Angelinas Kitchen, which is one of the best kept secrets in the Pottstown area.(see picture below)

In addition to having some of Pennsylvania’s best schools, Pottstown, is a great place for real estate investors looking to purchase commercial real estate for investing. Commercial Property in Pottstown, can be obtained at very competitive rates, which will continue to prove to be great investments that will benefit the real estate investor for years to come.

Check out a sweet piece of Pottstown Commercial Property.
